SEPHIRIA / REFERENCEv1.0.31

Sephiria Tier List by Setup and Evidence

A transparent conditional comparison of weapon routes, with dependencies, patch-sensitive changes and no invented universal rankings.

Conditional tier list

Decision tier Candidate Condition that earns this placement
Ready to test Blinding Silence with Thunder's Earring Both pieces present; Cleave is part of your routine
Ready to test Garden of Needle Ice with Ice Vine Both pieces present; the changed effect is identifiable
Conditional M-9200 You can meet its Ammo Compression condition
Conditional Prismatic Magic Wand You understand which element will control its attack
Specialist experiment Bloodletting Gearblade You have checked the health conversion through its full duration
Unranked Every setup without comparable evidence Missing dependency or missing current-version test

These tiers express readiness to evaluate a setup, not relative DPS. A universal S-to-D strength ranking and comparable clear-rate data are not available. The named mechanics are from the official 1.0.31 update. Tier placement is this site's conditional editorial judgment, not TEAM HORAY's ranking.

How the placements are decided

Criterion Ready to test Conditional Specialist experiment
Required equipment Defining pair already present A state or threshold must also be checked Equipment is only the beginning of the assessment
Trigger clarity A named action enables a named effect Element or ammunition state affects the payoff A temporary health state needs observation
First useful question Does the explicit connection activate? Does the condition hold during normal use? What happens at activation and expiration?
Damage superiority Not available not available Not available
Guaranteed clear Not claimed Not claimed Not claimed

A setup moves between decision tiers when your situation changes. Missing Ice Vine moves the cold route out of “Ready to test,” even though the official weapon interaction still exists. The tier describes your available setup, not a permanent label attached to an item.

Why the list does not invent an S tier

  • A ranking needs comparable observations. A strong-looking clip can demonstrate an interaction without establishing how it compares to another complete setup. A fair strength comparison would need the patch, equipment, progression, encounter and testing method to be stated. It would also need to distinguish a favorable attempt from repeatable performance. Without those conditions, putting a letter next to a weapon adds confidence without adding evidence. This page instead makes a smaller decision that the available sources can support.

  • The unit being ranked matters. A base branch, an upgraded weapon and an entire inventory are not interchangeable competitors. A weapon with its required Artifact should not be compared as though the Artifact were free and guaranteed. Likewise, a setup demonstrated with extensive progression does not establish an early-run recommendation. Before using any tier list, identify whether the author is evaluating an item by itself or the completed combination that makes it impressive.

Read the ready-to-test group correctly

  • Explicit partners make a useful first experiment. Blinding Silence and Garden of Needle Ice name their enabling Artifacts in the official note. That gives a clear expectation you can observe. Their placement is therefore about a short path from owning the equipment to checking the stated behavior. It is not a claim that either wins every encounter. If you struggle with the triggering action, the pair may deserve a lower personal priority even when both parts are available.

  • A direct interaction still has practical costs. Inventory space, attention and the opportunity to choose something else all matter when deciding whether to pursue a pairing. The official relationship does not tell you how often your run will offer the needed objects or how comfortably you will use them. Keep those observations separate from the simple question of whether the effect activates. A complete evaluation should eventually cover both, but the current tier does not pretend those tests have happened.

Understand the conditional group

  • M-9200 depends on an ammunition state. Its enhanced compressed round requires the stated quantity of compressed ammunition. The sensible first question is whether your ordinary cycle reaches that state when it is useful. A test that begins with the condition already satisfied may hide the time or effort needed to set it up. Judge the whole sequence before treating the enhanced shot as your normal output. This is why the route is conditional rather than automatically promoted by its bonus percentage.

  • Prismatic depends on the displayed elemental relationship. The upgrade's rule makes the leading element important, and a tie changes the outcome. That is a clear mechanic but a variable state. Inspect how your actual equipment affects it. If a new item changes the leading value, reconsider the setup instead of assuming that the same weapon name means the same damage plan. There is no current benchmark here showing that one elemental state always deserves a higher rank.

Give specialist mechanics a separate evaluation

  • Health conversion deserves more than a burst screenshot. Bloodletting Gearblade changes a health-related state during its special. A useful test follows the beginning, active period and ending rather than capturing only the damage moment. You also need to understand what your other equipment is doing at the same time. This tier is a prompt for a more careful experiment, not a verdict that the upgrade is weak. Its comparative strength remains unmeasured on this site.

  • Distinguish uncertainty from poor performance. An unranked item is not an F-tier item. It may be excellent, ordinary or highly situational; the reference simply lacks the evidence to decide. This matters when a new patch adds equipment faster than reliable tests appear. Leaving a result open preserves room for discovery and prevents a speculative list from discouraging players from experimenting with choices that have not yet been evaluated fairly.

Build a personal comparison that answers a real question

  • Choose one goal and keep it fixed. If the goal is comfortable room clearing, do not replace it halfway through with the largest single-target damage number. If the goal is learning a defensive action, evaluate successful use of that action rather than only completion time. Write the goal before the test. This gives your personal ordering a meaning that someone else can understand and helps explain why another player may reasonably order the same equipment differently.

  • Record failures as well as highlights. Note missing activations, resource interruptions and situations where the setup felt awkward. A short collection of honest observations is more useful than a polished claim that hides every unsuccessful attempt. The list can then change for a reason: a dependency became available, an input became comfortable, or a patch altered the mechanic. Preserve the version so that a later comparison does not combine incompatible results.

Frequently asked questions

What is the S-tier weapon right now?

A source-backed universal S-tier result is not available. The table offers conditional priorities based on explicit mechanics and your available pieces. It does not convert an official patch bonus into a claim of measured superiority.

Does “specialist experiment” mean bad?

No. It means the defining mechanic needs a more involved check before this site can recommend it broadly. For health conversion, that includes observing the full state change. Uncertainty and weakness are different conclusions.

Can a ready-to-test route become unranked for me?

Yes. If the required Artifact is missing or the triggering action is unavailable in your selected configuration, the ready-to-test condition is not met. The official interaction still exists, but your current setup is not the same complete pair.

How often should I reconsider a ranking?

Reconsider it when a relevant mechanic changes or your available equipment and goal change. The September update reworked existing weapons as well as adding new ones, so a list based on earlier effects needs to explain how those changes were incorporated.
