Sephiria System Requirements for Windows and Mac

Compare the published Windows and macOS requirements, understand ambiguous hardware labels and evaluate your own setup without invented FPS claims.

Hardware quick reference

Platform Published starting point Memory and storage
Windows minimum Windows 10 64-bit; Ryzen 5 1400 8 GB RAM; 2 GB available space
Windows recommended Windows 10 64-bit; store labels CPU Ryzen 5 1700X 8 GB RAM; 2 GB available space
macOS minimum Big Sur 11.0 or newer; Apple M1 4 GB RAM; 2 GB available space
macOS recommended Same published baseline as minimum 4 GB RAM; 2 GB available space
Measured frame rates Not available in this reference No resolution or FPS guarantee inferred

The figures below come from the official Steam requirements, checked September 15, 2026. They are publisher-supplied specifications, not results from a hardware test performed by this wiki. Some Windows component labels are unusual; we preserve and flag them instead of silently substituting hardware that the developer did not name.

The source's “Ryzen 5 1700X” and “Geforce GTS 750” wording needs clarification from the publisher. Do not convert those labels into a buying recommendation for a different model. The useful response to ambiguous requirements is to compare the exact machine you already own and seek a specific answer, rather than inventing an equivalent GPU or CPU.

Compare your computer without guessing equivalence

  • Record complete component names. “Ryzen,” “GeForce” and “MacBook” identify broad product families. Write down the actual processor or chip, graphics device, installed memory and operating-system version. For a laptop, include the laptop model as well. If you need help, those details make a comparison possible; a description such as “a recent gaming computer” leaves important differences unresolved.

  • Keep the graphics requirement separate from memory. Satisfying the RAM entry does not establish that a graphics device supports the same workload. Likewise, free disk space does not compensate for an unsupported processor or operating system. Compare each field independently and list the fields you cannot verify. A single yes-or-no label can hide uncertainty that matters when deciding whether to install or purchase the game.

  • Treat “or better” as a comparison request. It is not a license to rank hardware by one visible number. Different product generations and laptop configurations make simple name comparisons unreliable. This guide does not publish substitute-model rankings because it has no controlled performance dataset. If your component is not named, use a relevant test or developer answer instead of inferring equivalence from branding alone.

Understand what the table cannot promise

  • A minimum specification is not an FPS target. The published entries do not attach a resolution, graphics preset or frame-rate target to the hardware. We therefore cannot claim that meeting the minimum means a particular level of smoothness. If you test a session yourself, record its resolution and settings along with the hardware; otherwise the result cannot meaningfully answer another player's performance question.

  • Identical Mac columns do not describe every Mac. The listed baseline names Apple Silicon rather than a generic promise about any computer running macOS. Verified support details for an Intel Mac are not available here. Do not treat a newer operating-system version alone as proof of compatibility with a different processor architecture. Check the exact model and the current Steam listing before relying on an older guide.

  • A small storage entry is only one requirement. Confirm that the intended installation drive has space, but keep your own documents and downloads in mind when planning an installation. This page does not invent an additional temporary-space allowance or a compression ratio. If the client reports a different requirement during installation, retain that message and compare it with the publisher's listing rather than overriding the client's result.

Make a useful performance observation

  • Start with a reproducible scene. Record whether the issue occurs at launch, in a menu, during a particular battle or only while connected to other players. “Low performance” can describe slow rendering, delayed input, loading or a connection symptom. Naming the visible behavior is more useful than attributing everything to the graphics card. Try to reproduce the same action before changing several settings together.

  • Keep comparison conditions consistent. When evaluating one adjustment, hold resolution, input method and the rest of the setup steady. Note whether the machine is running on its usual power arrangement and whether other demanding tasks are active. These are general comparison principles, not claims about a Sephiria-specific power bug. A useful record says what changed and what did not, so the next attempt can test a clear explanation.

  • Separate a crash from a slow frame rate. If the program closes, record the time and any message rather than reporting an invented FPS value. If it stays open but stutters, describe when the stutter happens. A hardware requirement table cannot diagnose either symptom by itself. Include the game build in a report so an old compatibility discussion is not mistaken for evidence about a newer patch.

  • Use the demo as a limited sample. Steam lists a demo that can help you assess controls, readability and basic operation on your own computer. A successful sample is encouraging, but it does not cover every later scene. Keep any conclusion tied to what you actually tried and avoid presenting it as a full-game benchmark or a promise about another person's laptop.

Frequently asked questions

How much RAM and disk space are listed?

The published Windows requirements list 8 GB RAM and 2 GB of available storage. The Mac entries list 4 GB RAM and the same storage amount. These are requirement figures, not measurements of memory usage during every encounter.

Does this page guarantee a particular frame rate?

No. The source does not specify a frame-rate target, and this wiki has not benchmarked the game. Verified FPS figures for particular hardware are not available. Include settings and test conditions when comparing player-reported results.

Can I use the Windows GPU labels to choose a purchase?

The minimum graphics label and recommended CPU label contain wording that needs publisher clarification. Do not silently correct them into a different model and buy on that assumption. Check the source and ask about the exact component you are considering.

Is Steam Deck or Linux support confirmed here?

This requirements table documents Windows and macOS. A verified current Linux requirement set or Steam Deck certification assessment is not available in this reference. Platform-specific performance should be checked separately rather than inferred from the Windows minimum.
