Sephiria Artifacts: Read Effects and Plan Your Inventory

Check documented artifact evolutions and effect changes, then learn how to evaluate triggers, inventory placement and tablet support.

Artifact quick reference

Artifact Documented function to recognize First check
Faded Shield Crest Evolves through Perfect guard use Confirm the exact defensive action
Rusty Tsuba Evolves through blocking with Sheath or Unsheath Confirm your weapon still has those actions
Stiff Crank Evolves through completed reloads Observe a full reload cycle
Dull Resonance Stone Evolves at a Move Speed threshold Read the displayed movement value
Blood Stone Ring Reworked around Damage Taken Recovery Avoid using its older kill-healing description
Ice Vine Named partner of Garden of Needle Ice Read the weapon interaction as well as the Artifact

The official 1.0.31 patch supplies these records. Exact drop locations and drop probabilities are not available. The table covers selected documented effects, not the entire Artifact collection.

Evolution and effect details

Droplet of Plitvice All five orbiting ice swords are present No longer consumes MP in that state
Blacksmith's Tongs Weapon attacks against a target affected by Burn Adds the documented conditional damage bonus

The evolution conditions above are directly stated in the update. Full level-by-level tooltips are outside this selected reference. When an entry is a change record, it should not be interpreted as a list of every property that the Artifact has.

Read the trigger before valuing the reward

  • Identify the event that activates the effect. An Artifact can look suitable because it mentions your weapon or element, but the trigger determines whether it contributes during your actual play. Perfect guard is not a synonym for any defensive input, and blocking with Sheath or Unsheath is not the same as merely possessing a Blade. Put the trigger into a simple sentence before committing inventory space. If your normal routine does not produce that event, the expected reward may rarely appear.

  • Separate the starting item from its evolved form. An evolution condition describes a transition, not an effect that is already active when you acquire the first form. Evaluate what the Artifact does while you work toward the condition, then evaluate the result separately. This avoids counting the upgraded payoff before it exists. The named evolution pairs above are useful because the official note identifies both the requirement and the resulting item, making the transition easier to recognize.

Plan evolution around behavior you can sustain

  • Do not manufacture dangerous actions just to fill a counter. If an evolution depends on defensive success, practice the relevant timing in a controlled setting before changing how you approach an expedition. A completed transformation is not automatically worth every risk taken to obtain it. This page does not recommend a particular enemy, room or farming loop for those conditions because such a route has not been verified. Use the requirement to understand the item rather than inventing a guaranteed shortcut.

  • For reloads, inspect what counts as completion. Stiff Crank's condition refers to completed reloads. Watch the actual cycle and the item's state instead of estimating progress from attack animations. Once the transformation occurs, reread the evolved form before making further decisions. A familiar icon or name fragment can hide a materially different effect. The official record establishes the count, but this site has not tested unusual input cancellations or multiplayer edge cases around that count.

  • For a stat threshold, use the current display. Dull Resonance Stone names a movement-speed threshold. Do not assume a collection of item bonuses reaches it without checking the value the game shows. If the display and the expected transformation disagree, record the setup and version rather than making up an extra condition. This kind of focused observation can distinguish a misunderstanding of the state from a potentially reproducible issue.

Arrange active equipment with intent

  • Begin with the effect you want to empower. The official store description establishes the connection between inventory arrangement, Artifacts and Tablets. Place your attention on the Artifact doing useful work, then compare how the available support affects it. Do not infer a universal layout from a screenshot with different items. Exact optimal grid coordinates for the selected records are not available; the right comparison depends on the inventory and effects actually available to you.

  • Recheck an effect after moving its support. A replacement can create space while weakening another active piece. Inspect the before-and-after state of the affected Artifact, not only the item you added. This is particularly useful when several changes happen at once. If you cannot explain the difference, restore the previous arrangement and change one piece at a time. Treat the displayed result as evidence for that arrangement rather than a universal rule about all Tablets.

  • Remember that storage is inactive. The launch announcement explicitly says that Side Bag items do not operate. An Artifact kept there is a reserve choice, not part of your current output. If a documented partnership appears to be missing, verify both parts are in the active setup. This is a simple diagnostic step before concluding that an effect changed or that the reference is incorrect.

Recheck reworked sustain and damage effects

  • Replace the old premise when the mechanic changes. Blood Stone Ring's old kill-based healing description is no longer the premise of its September change record. A recommendation built around getting kills must therefore be reconsidered. The new recovery behavior asks a different question about taking damage and subsequent recovery. Do not preserve an old recommendation by swapping in a new number while leaving the old explanation untouched.

  • Rarity is not a damage measurement. Meteorite Earrings changed rarity and lost a stat bonus in the same update. That makes it especially risky to judge the item from an old color label or screenshot. Read the current effect, identify the role it could serve, and compare it with the actual alternative occupying that space. This page does not assign universal Artifact ranks from rarity alone.

Frequently asked questions

Where do these Artifacts drop?

Verified item-specific drop locations and probabilities are not available. The official patch confirms the selected items and changes, but it does not provide a complete acquisition table. No named boss or chest is assigned here without evidence.

Does every Artifact evolve?

This page documents particular evolving Artifacts from the September update. It does not claim that all Artifacts share that system. Look for an explicit condition on the selected item instead of applying these requirements to unrelated equipment.

Can I use an item from the Side Bag?

The launch notes state that items stored there are inactive. Move the relevant item into your active setup before expecting its effect to contribute, and recheck the rest of the arrangement after making the change.

Is the highest-rarity Artifact always the best choice?

No universal conclusion follows from rarity alone. Evaluate the actual trigger, contribution and space tradeoff in your current setup. This site has no comparable performance dataset that would justify a blanket ranking by rarity.
